A box-office hit both in Israel and in the US, “The Women’s Balcony” is a Comedy/Drama about community, old traditions and values and the power of women to keep all these together in the face of modern extremism. When the Women’s Balcony in an Orthodox synagogue collapses leaving the Rabbi’s wife in a coma and the Rabbi in shock, the congregation falls into the crisis, creating a rift between the community’s men and women.

Charismatic young Rabbi David appears to be a savior after the accident. He slowly, however tries to take control and pushing his fundamentalist agenda. The women fight back,even if causes a rift between the men and women of the community and friendships may become strained.
