Into the Light weaves the magic of Arm-of-the-Sea Theater’s giant puppets into the tapestry of The Vanaver Caravan’s global dance repertoire. The family friendly pageant uplifts spirits and deepens appreciation for cultural traditions. The show tells the story of a young girl, Lucia, who journeys around the world to find light in the darkest time of the year.
With giant puppets and holiday songs, dances, and music traditions the performance celebrates many of the world’s traditions for bringing light, joy and beauty into the darkest part of the year. Through dance and music Into the Light honors such holidays as Christmas, Chanukah, Diwali, Kwanzaa, Sankta Lucia, Yule, Winter Solstice.
