This one time benefit event at the Rosendale Theatre will feature startlingly original works of art by war torn Ukrainian children ages eight to fifteen. The art will be sold in a silent auction. This very special event will also feature homemade Ukrainian food (courtesy of Soyuzivka Heritage Center Chef Andrey Sovenytsky), video presentations, & more. Live music will be provided by Jim Coyle who will sing songs of peace and Nazar Frank performing authentic Ukrainian and slavic songs.
The art has been created by children in the Ukrainian town of Liubar and the capital city of Kiev.
All proceeds benefit the international charitable foundation Nucleus which for 25 years has promoted physical and psychological rehabilitation of children from de-occupied territories as well as training programs for children’s emotional & educational needs.
