Rising Voices on Main Street is a new concert series produced by Fre Atlast. It features local talent and visiting performers with links to the Hudson Valley.

Still, Shaken and Stirred
Still, Shaken and Stirred is made up of the powerhouse trio of Carole White, Fre Atlast, and Caru Thompson. They serve up Woodstock Roots music with a twist. Songs include covers and originals with spicy percussion riffs. From Van Morrisson, to Macey Gray, from Bluesy to World Beat with an occasional ballad inbetween. This is music to make you feel good!
Sariyah Idan
New York bred and New Orleans based, Sariyah Idan is an internationally touring independent artist, multi-instrumentalist, music producer, and educator. Jazz and folk trained, hip-hop educated, and influenced by both Latinx sounds and her Jewish roots, Ms. Idan has an “ability to seamlessly combine a wide variety of disparate styles and sonics into a memorable sound all her own”, (Darryl Sterdan ,Tinnitist.com). For her, honoring the sounds of both influences and ancestors is a form of cultural activism. Her lyrics weave “powerful, soulful, spirited songs filled with stories of struggle, love and social justice”. Following her EP Deeper Than Skin plus numerous guest features, she released her debut solo LP Breaking Shadows in 2019. The 17 track album addresses love, power, and shifting of toxic patriarchy from #MeToo to solidarity with Black Lives Matter; recorded in Los Angeles, Berlin, and Lisbon. She is currently in pre-production for two new recording projects.

Armed with a guitar, callie writes music with an acoustic soul feel that reflects their lived experiences as a queer Black woman experiencing the quest for liberation and the every day feels of love, hope, joy, and loss.
