Join us at The Rosendale Theatre for a celebration to honor the 100th anniversary of the birth of one of the world’s greatest entertainers. With a career spanning 45 years, beloved Judy Garland attained international stardom as an actress, recording artist, and performer on the concert stage. Our celebration will feature birthday wishes, trivia, prizes, and the screening of the classic film “A Star is Born.”

About the Film

Norman Maine (James Mason), a movie star whose career is on the wane, meets showgirl Esther Blodgett (Judy Garland) when he drunkenly stumbles into her act one night. A friendship develops, then blossoms into romance before tensions increase as Esther’s career takes off while Norman’s continues to plummet.

A Star is Born was nominated for six Oscar awards, including Best Actress, Best Actor, and Best Music/ Original Song – The Man That Got Away.
