Lagniappe is a Louisiana French Creole term meaning a little bit extra, as in the 13th of a baker’s dozen.
Join us as we celebrate the 13th anniversary of The Rosendale Theatre, being operated by the mostly volunteer-led Rosendale Theatre Collective. There will be music outside before the program by The Rosendale Improvement Brass Band and Social Club. Inside the theatre, we will have a sweet treat and a toast. Next up is live music by The Saints of Swing featuring the incredible Ms. Renee Bailey.
The SAINTS of SWING are an extraordinary collective of some of the tri-state area’s finest performers. Providing a fresh and exciting experience in art and entertainment, the SAINTS OF SWING who will be playing spicy New Orleans Dixieland and Creole classics (complete with a dancin’ tuba player!)
The SAINTS of SWING is a seven-piece ensemble featuring the great vocalist Miss Rene Bailey, who has performed with such shining stars as Louis Armstrong, B.B. King, Aretha Franklin, Peg Leg Bates, and Paul Anka.
We plan on having a GRAND time, so grab ya beads, boas, and masks. Grab some friends and family, COME AS YOU ARE, and be prepared to celebrate The Rosendale Theatre Collective!
