Mid-Hudson Valley’s beloved The Vanaver Caravan, with a special appearance by The Vanaver Youth Company, will perform a 1-hour version of Earthbeat, a “dance and music festival” celebrating the music and dance from around the world on Saturday, June 14 at 11:00 am at Rosendale Theatre as the first offering in the Fun! Summer Family Series.  With rhythm and live music to knock your socks off these exuberant performers make an uplifting way to start the day.  The Fun! Summer Family Series is meant for audiences of all ages—but especially for families with elementary school-age children.

Based in New Paltz, The Vanaver Caravan has traveled the world for over 40 years.  Through their art and special workshops they have brought the world to Ulster County.  Earthbeat premiered at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in 2010, Berkshire on Stage called it, “a perfect attraction for families”

The series continues with David Gonzalez’s performance of Aesop Bops! on July 12 and Dog On Fleas on August 9.  Packed with audience participation, every show offers a memorable good time. The Fun!
