Orange and red leaves crush under foot, the aroma of baking apples and pumpkin bread fills the air, and our hearts thrill at memories from crisp autumn days past.  It’s time to celebrate our harvest season with “Tales of the Hudson Valley” a live theatrical performance adapted from Washington Irving’s “Rip van Winkle” and “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”.

“Tales” is made to delight the entire family.

Washington Irving, America’s first man of letters, wrote these classic stories set in the Hudson Valley. Local theater artist Ann Citron directs the performance, which was adapted by playwright Edward Versailles.  Back by popular demand, “Tales” has become an annual autumn tradition—like apple picking and enjoying our brilliant foliage.  Three actors play a total of 22 different characters, which is a very entertaining concept in itself.
