7:30 pm | $20 adults | kids 8 years old and up by donation | a benefit for Angela Starks and Jenny Lee Fowler, two local women battling breast cancer.

Wykoff and Motel will be accompanied by Hudson Valley luminaries: Debbie Lan, Charlie Kniceley, Tim Whalen, and Bob Shaut on accompanying instruments. “After 12 years of marriage and 13 years of fandom, I am very excited to be creating a show with Carrie,” said Motel.

Wykoff is a lifelong actor, director, musician, and the founder of Events That Matter, the production company producing Stardust Melodies. She has directed or produced several productions at the Rosendale Theatre, including “Free to be You and Me” and “Schoolhouse Rock.” Wykoff also serves on the Board of Directors of the Theatre as Secretary and is Co-Chair of the Rosendale Street Festival. “Hearing her sing is one of my favorite things to do in life and sharing the stage with her in this way is going to be a blast!” Motel said.

Motel is an award-winning writer, playwright, and performer. His solo play “Mind Salad” was nominated for the LA Weekly Award for writing and performing, and his play “Shiva Arms” is the recipient of both the LA Weekly Award in writing and performing as well as the Theatre LA Ovation Award for best writing of a world premiere play. He is also the author of the book “Toddler Wisdom – Five Powerful Things You Can Learn From Watching 2-Year Olds.”

Tickets for Stardust Melodies are $20 per person for the evening, a price Wykoff says is well worth it to support two community members in need. “When Doug and I moved to Rosendale, we really wanted to use our talents to be of service to the community if and when it was needed. Angela and Jenny are both friends, and when we saw that they needed some support, we jumped at the chance to try and raise some much-needed funds.”

The show is appropriate for children eight and up and the price for kids is by donation.

The Rosendale Theatre is located at 408 Main Street in Rosendale, New York. Tickets will be available at the door and the box office will open at 6:30 PM.
