ROSENDALE THEATRE ACCEPTING ENTRIES FOR 2nd HUDSON VALLEY SHORT FLIX FEST AT ROSENDALE THEATRE,
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS EXTENDED TO JUNE 30th
It was a success in 2011. Let’s do it again! Film and video makers who live in the Mid-Hudson region are invited to submit short (10-minute maximum) documentaries and dramatic works for exhibition at the Rosendale Theatre for the Second Annual Hudson Valley Short Flix Fest which will be held in conjunction with the Rosendale Street Festival on Saturday and Sunday, July 21 and 22.
Entries, whose content must be acceptable viewing for audiences of all ages, must be on DVD and come accompanied by the entry form found on this website.

DEADLINE EXTENDED JUNE 30
A jury, consisting of members of the Rosendale Theatre Collective and invited reviewers, will select 5 to 8 films, which will be shown continuously during the Street Fest.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Each entry must be accompanied by a completed entry form and applicable entry fees. Entries must be submitted on DVD.
SHIPPING
Cost of shipping is the responsibility of the entrant. DVDs must be sent to the festival prepaid. C.O.D.’S will be refused. All DVDs must be labeled with the title of the entry, running time, and the name of the director. The festival cannot accept responsibility for damage or loss of materials while in transit.

Please note: Do not use registered or certified mail. Use First class, Priority, Airmail or Media Mail. Fedex, UPS and DHL also accepted.
SELECTION & NOTIFICATION
All entries will be viewed by the selection committee. The Festival will make no cuts or changes. All entrants will be notified by email. The festival does not pay rental fees for submitted work.
RETURN OF SUBMISSION TAPES
We strongly encourage you to only send materials you do not wish to have returned, it’s cheaper and easier for all involved. Please do not send us masters, originals, your only copy, etc. DVD’s will not be returned unless requested, please mark the appropriate box on your entry form. DVD return fees are $5 for US addresses, $10 outside of the U.S. Allow 8 weeks after festival date for returns. Although due care will be exercised, The Rosendale Theatre cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged tapes.
