Will Friedwald, noted jazz and pop music critic and author of nine books on jazz and popular music, will present a show of video clips of Louis Armstrong singing duets with stars of stage and screen.
Armstrong will be singing with Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Jimmy Durante, Mahalia Jackson, Rex Harrison, Johnny Cash, Danny Kaye, Dizzy Gillespie, Billie Holiday, Perry Como, and other stars. The show will include a rarely seen animation of Armstrong singing a duet with Ella Fitzgerald.
