JOSEPH ANTHONY DAVIS is a film Director, SAG Actor, and the founder of Happenstancery Improv. His film productions have included “The Dead Don’t Die”, “In Holding”, “Can You Keep A Secret”, “The Green Veil”, and Greg Bray’s “Escapism” where Joe won Best Actor in the “Talking it Out” Film Festival. Joe’s work on stage includes leading roles in “Inside The Cuckoo’s Nest”, King Claudius in Epiphany Shakespere’s production of “Hamlet The Clown Prince”, and “Madea” with the Hudson Valley Performing Arts Lab.
Most recently, Joe has launched the 3rd Thursday Variety show at the Rosendale Theatre, and performs around New York with Happenstancery Improv including at the 2023 Hill People’s Comedy Festival.
Since 2009, Youth Ensemble Theater has worked with groups of intergenerational adults, youths, and children to create ensemble theater, using its own approach to theater production and social awareness strategies. The goal has always been to create non-competitive forums to create high quality theater events and cultivate group responsibility.
