Adventurer, brain surgeon, rock musician Buckaroo Banzai (Peter Weller) and his crime-fighting team, the Hong Kong Cavaliers, must stop evil alien invaders from the eighth dimension who are planning to conquer Earth.
After successfully testing his jet car, capable of traveling through solid matter into the 8th dimension, Buckaroo’s feat attracts the attention of the evil alien dictator John Whorfin (John Lithgow) and his Red Lectroid henchmen. With the help of his eclectic team, the Hong Kong Cavaliers, Buckaroo must devise a plan to stop Whorfin, and save the world from certain destruction.
Also starring Christopher Lloyd, Jeff Goldblum and Ellen Barkin, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension is like nothing that came before, and nothing that came after.
