$20 General /$15 Members, Anyone in Costume | Fantasy/ Musical | 1 hour 42 minutes (movie)
Have you been wondering what’s at the end of the Yellow Brick Road? Well call your good Judy, put on your ruby slippers, and ease on down the road to the Rosendale Theatre for a late night screening of The Wizard of Oz, my pretty.
This will be an interactive screening with sing alongs led by Epiphany Penn, a costume contest, and a dance party after the movie that will leave you feeling like maybe a house was dropped on you. We don’t have an oil can at the venue, but there will be plenty of snacks, treats, and delights from the concession stand to lubricate you and help you find your courage. If you miss this, you’ll wish you’d only had a brain. Just pay no attention to the …ahem… man behind the drag queen curtain.
During the event, we’ll be accepting donations for Trans Closet Hudson Valley, a local organization that provides gender affirming clothing to folks who fall all along the gender spectrum (or anywhere over the gender rainbow).
Your hostess for the evening will be lollipop-guild member Sis Jenner, who will do her best to keep the flying monkeys at bay and ensure that we all make it back to Kansas in one piece.
