Come early for the preshow with live klezmer music by Harry Sweet (violin/mandolin) & Elena Erber (accordion)! The film will be introduced by Rabbi Jack Sherratt of Congregation Emanuel of the Hudson Valley (Kingston, NY).
Topol repeats his legendary stage performance as “Tevye the Milkman”, who is constantly challenged by poverty, prejudice and his daughters’ romantic entanglements in a small Russian village at the beginning of the twentieth century.
