Boy oh boy! How things can go wrong when all that you really want to do is decorate your bike for the Fourth of July Parade! “March in the Parade: a Play with Music for Young Audiences” will be given a workshop “work in progress” reading. A winsome new play in development about the adventures of Joey, a Caucasian boy, and Antoinette, an African-American girl, and how their friendship is tested by bullying and racism. It was written by Edward Versailles who also wrote lyrics, with music and lyrics by Harvey Kaiser; AnnChris Warren is the director.
