Cinco de Mayo Parade at the Rosendale Theatre

Saturday, May 5, 2012 2:00 pm, FREE: Parade on Main Street led by the First Rosendale Improvement Brass Band and Social Club, (a circular parade starting at Redwing Blackbird Theater and ending at the Rosendale Theatre).
The parade was followed by an amazing chain of events!!!!! What a great day for Rosendale!
3:00 pm, $5: Rosendale Theatre: MEXICO BEYOND MARIACHI® is one of the leading providers of in depth, educational, and entertaining performances and residencies that incorporate live music and dance from Mexico. In this program we will be taking families on a journey that begins over 600 years ago into the fascinating world of the Aztec civilization, then continuing in chronological order showing how time, geography, climate and foreign influence have affected folk traditions to the present day.
4:00 pm Cookout and Fandango at the Big Cheese Outdoor Garden; activities at other participating Main Street businesses
7:15 pm Film: Like Water for Chocolate ($7, $5 members)
